Abortion.....Not a choice, but a child
"I feel that the greatest destroyer of peace today is abortion, because it is a war against the child, a direct killing of the innocent child, murder by the mother herself. And if we accept that a mother can kill even her own child, how can we tell other people not to kill one another?...By abortion, the mother does not learn to love, but kills even her own child to solve her problems...Any country that accepts abortion is not teaching people to love, but to use any violence to get what they want. This is why the greatest destoyer of love and peace is abortion."

A Message From The Author
Although it is African Americans For Life's purpose to raise awareness and educate communities about the horrors of abortion, it is just as important to me to let all women, who have experienced an abortion, know how much God loves you. If you have placed your trust in Christ alone for your salvation and have asked God for forgiveness, you are totally forgiven. Not only has God forgiven you, He wants you to be set free. Free from all shame and guilt that you may be experiencing. God wants to give you a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. If you are experiencing shame, guilt and grief from an abortion, there is help for you. Please refer to our Resource page or feel free to email me at aaforlife@att.net. AJK

Life Begins At Conception
As I gather information and continue to educate myself about the horrors of abortion, I can't help but wonder how we as a society have been duped into believing that life does not begin at conception. I've tried to wrap my mind around the thinking of individuals who state that in the beginning (the early stages of pregnancy) a baby is not a baby and what's growing inside of the mother at this embryonic stage are "just cells", a "blob of tissue", or a "lump of flesh." My question is if it's not a baby, how is it a baby nine months later? Did we add anything to the "blob of tissue" to get a different result nine months later? I don't think so. If we have a baby nine months later, we have a baby at the moment of conception. AJK
