Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute.
Read About The Founder, April Keese
For the past six years, April has volunteered at a local Pregnancy Center in Dallas. She has a strong desire and is passionate about meeting the needs of young girls and women facing unplanned pregnancies. Through sound biblical counseling practices, pregnancy consultation, intervention and support, many of her clients, considering terminating their pregnancies due to major crises, made the decision to parent. In addition to her role as a client advocate, she coordinated and facilitated the Center’s parenting classes. She also served as a Touch Point Leader and trained new volunteers.
April has spent the past six years educating and learning about the pro-life movement and researching the issues surrounding unplanned pregnancies. She is so devoted and committed to the cause of saving unborn babies that in August 2011 she formed a non-profit 501(c )(3) organization. Her organization, African Americans For Life, is a pro-life group. Its purpose and mission is to educate and raise public awareness about the devastating effects surrounding unplanned pregnancies while promoting positive options to empower women, men, and youth to make life-affirming choices.
April and her organization are committed to educating all communities, but especially the African American community about this serious epidemic! Her personal mission is to protect life in the womb and play a key role to end legalized abortion.
